Day 10 - March 12, 2008

ehh....

today's been up and down.

and it was only up cause i got a perfect score on my lab and got a compliment from my comp. sci. professor. and i thought up a new beat.

*back story time!*
so i've been playing drums since 6th grade. it was more my dad's thing (aka i had a passing interest and he pushed me into it). i did enjoy it, it's just that he was always on me about it. finally one day i sold my drum set (i had gotten it for christmas a few years before) for car parts.
but once you get into drumming it sticks with you, you tap out the beat to every song you hear, play along with your favorite bands, or just mess around in class.

and so i sat in psych, synthesizing beats. i came up with something i think sounds cool, and i'm gonna try and recreate it on my computer, but that all depends on my patience with the software. (i'd LOVE to just hook up some drum pads and play the beat, but i don't have any.)

so eh, whatever, nothing too special going on, just my life, as usual.
